Setup MuOnline Season 9 Server

Now that we have SQL installed:

• Download the files from the video description.
• Place files in C: or D: drive (recommended, but not mandatory).

We are installing S9 FILES.

Follow these steps closely (replace details with your own):

• Replace WanIP with your IP address, and "pass" with your SQL password (set during SQL installation).
• SQL instance name example: SPARTA-PC\SQLEXPRESS. Replace with your actual instance name.
• For local installation, use LAN IP. To use global IP (for VPS/HOST), open the following ports in firewall:
• TCP Ports: 44405, 56900, 56912, 56913, 56914, 56120, 1433
• If setting up on personal computer, open ports through router/modem (check YouTube tutorials for assistance).

Configuration Steps:

• Edit SQL password and instance name in dataserver and dataserver battlecore files.
• Edit IP in connectserver and igcdata/mapserverinfo.xml.
• Restore database from DB folder.
• Setup ODBC connection:
  C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe (may not always be required but recommended).
• Run the server.
• Generate client patch from files/tools/IGCNServerInfoEditor and copy the generated serverinfo.bmd to your client/data/local folder.
• Create an account using essential tools provided.
• Enable TCP/IP and port 1433, restart SQL Server as demonstrated.
• Connect using main.exe from the client.

Troubleshooting:

• For main.exe errors, install all VC++ files located in Extras folder (players should do the same).
• Invisible interface fix:
  Common Mu solution or use the fix provided in Extras folder.
• Battlecore usage is optional:
  Change "SHOW" to "HIDE" in connectserver and reload.
• Ensure Windows Defender/antivirus isn't blocking essential files. Unblock if necessary.
